In the small town of Derry, Maine, seven children come face-to-face with life problems, bullies and a monster that takes the shape of a clown called Pennywise.
This movie was so great <3 Loved the cast, the atmosphere, the store, everything.

Shouldn't this go in supernatural though
Yeah, it probably works better as a supernatural film. The cast is phenomenal.
I still have not seen this, and feel like I'm the only person who hasn't seen it. I missed the biggest horror film of 2017.

Perfect timing to see it now before part 2 comes out next year!
Still an AWESOME film. Seriously one of the best remakes out there.
I really need to buy this on Amazon, I still haven't. Anytime I have a gift card I always forget to buy Chapter 1 on dvd/blu ray.

It was a really enjoyable theater experience for me. My audience was truly engaged into the film. That's why I love seeing horror films in theaters because of the audience reaction.
Honestly this movie scares me. The part when they fight IT for the first time in the haunted house is amazing giveup
A triple screening of this was quite fun. Bill Skarsgard was creepy and definitely did well as Pennywise (and his look worked a bit better in film than in promo). The 80s throwback stuff is a biiit overdone now, but they admittedly pulled it off well and it made for a fun atmosphere. Characters were also likeable, with Beverly easily being my favorite (helps that the actress ran circles around the entire young cast. Not that they were bad, but)
I kinda debate reading the book or not though.
