After spending 7 years in prison for murdering her husband in self defense, Marnie Watson is released and ordered to spend six months under house arrest, tracked by an ankle bracelet which restricts her to a 100 foot radius of the house. She soon finds out that her husband's ghost still inhabits the house, seeking revenge.

Potentially interesting concept, and I do love Famke (and Ed Westwick, actually, looking at the cast list). All that said, her killing her husband in self-defense and getting jailed for it seems pretty wonky.

We have a payload to deliver to the heart of our nearest star. We are delivering that payload cause that star is dying and, if it dies, we die, everything dies. So that is our mission, there is nothing, literally nothing, more important than completing our mission. End of story.

The movie goes so far out of it's way to justify jailing her that by the end, she and Ed are the only two likable characters cause they're the only ones who act like her getting jailed was unjust and wrong. A few other characters eventually figure out she was right but..it's kinda too little too late.

I wanna rec this movie cause I loved Famke in it but not even her character is all that great. (she's easily in her mid-to-early thirties and starts seeing a boy who outwardly states he's in his final years of HS ☠️☠️☠️)
